Château Paquillon – The spring

Deep, intense purple robe. The nose is beautifully intense with aromas of black fruit and notes of mocha. The palate is both dense and supple. The tannins are firm yet silky and luscious. The aromatic persistence is long, finishing with slightly chocolatey roasted notes. This still very young wine would pair well with a dessert such as a coffee or chocolate parfait served at 14°C, or more traditionally with meat at 16°C. Those who prefer the complexity brought by the bouquet should wait at least another 5 years.
