Château Paquillon 2020

A garnet-red robe with a slight coppery hue. The nose is open with lovely jammy fruit and notes of spice, along with a delicate, emerging bouquet. The palate has a luscious attack with velvety, fresh tannins. Ripe fruit flavors remain fresh on a licorice finish. A vintage with great aging potential, the wine is nevertheless mature today, still displaying youthful fruit and softened tannins. Best enjoyed served between 16 and 18°C ​​with meals, or warmer as an aperitif with charcuterie tapas.
